National Events

USA Wrestling promotes the development of youth Freestyle and Greco-Roman through the state club level and a series of regional tournaments for all age groups. Wrestlers who compete in Freestyle and Greco-Roman events throughout the year will accumulate points towards the U.S. Future Olympian Rankings.

USA Wrestling

USA Wrestling is the National Governing Body for the Sport of Wrestling in the United States and, as such, is its representative to the United States Olympic Committee. Simply, USA Wrestling is the central organization that coordinates amateur wrestling programs in the nation and works to create interest and participation in these programs.

Founded in 1868, Oregon State is the state’s Land Grant university and is one of only two universities in the U.S. to have Sea Grant, Space Grant and Sun Grant designations. Oregon State is also the only university in Oregon to hold both the Carnegie Foundation’s top designation for research institutions and its prestigious Community Engagement classification.

Boise State Wrestling

Boise State is Idaho’s metropolitan research university, located in the state’s population center and capital city, a hub of government, business, the arts, health care, industry and technology. The campus is home of 11 Idaho Professor of the Year honorees since 1990 and the 2011 national champion student debate and speech team. The university offers studies in more than 190 fields of interest.

California Baptist Wrestling

Founded in 1950, California Baptist University is affiliated with the California Southern Baptist Convention and is fully accredited. CBU is the only Southern Baptist college or university on the West Coast. The 128-acre campus reflects the Southern California environment, with towering palm trees, mission-style buildings, and a spectacular view of the nearby San Bernardino Mountains.
